Blue light, jet lag and the insomnia

The earth moves and rotates. The times of the year and the times of the day are created in their rhythm. Since the beginning of life, an internal clock has developed in plants, animals and humans.

This inner clock is anchored in us from birth. It tells us when to be tired and when to be awake. In addition to how we sleep, our internal clock also influences our hormonal balance (certain hormones are released at certain times), our body temperature and our perception of pain. So that our biorhythm does not get mixed up, our inner clock is readjusted daily, for example through daylight and the darkness at night.

However, modern times also have many possibilities to disrupt our biorhythm:

Extreme temperatures, shift work, and traveling across multiple time zones (beware of jet lag!) all create disruptions. One disruptive factor that we tend to ignore is blue light.

Smartphones and screens, tablets and LEDs fool the body (and thus also the skin) into the illusion that it is day in the middle of the night. The body does not come to rest and gets stressed. However, chronologists agree that blue light is important for humans.

However, artificial light sources with a high proportion of blue light or blue light at the wrong time have an impact on biorhythms and the skin:

The blue light inhibits the release of melatonin. As a result, we don't get tired and certain cell mechanisms don't work properly. For example, the important cell division takes place more at night. Too much blue light and blue light at the wrong time affects the natural cell rhythms via the disturbed biorhythm and makes us look tired and sallow. In addition, there is damage from the light that does not come via the biorhythm: Comparable to UV light, blue light penetrates the skin, even a little deeper. This can be premature

lead to skin aging as it allows the increased formation of free radicals. These free radicals affect the usual cell division mechanism and cause the skin to age faster. We are talking about oxidative stress, which leads to wrinkles and premature aging of the skin.

The best and most effective protection against disruption of the human biorhythm is: SWITCH OFF – AND THE SMARTPHONE AND YOUR STRESS. Block the blue light on your cell phone (yes, you can), avoid using cell phones and laptops in bed, and go to bed regularly at reasonable times.

However, today we can not only align our lives with the course of the sun, we have a job - maybe in shift work, we fly a lot and mainly work on computers and smartphones. It's of little use if you're in bed on time.

Against these inevitable consequences of urban and modern life, Beauty Hills has developed the Blue Light Protect. Simply hold the spray at arm's length and spray evenly. While the pleasant citrus scent invigorates the senses, the spray protects the cells from damage caused by oxidative stress.

You can find this spray here: Blue Light Protect

For effective protection against oxidative damage caused by blue light and other environmental influences! In the usual Beauty Hills quality.
